The Nighthawk-MG is a rugged, feature rich binocular night vision device manufactured by Steele Industries and built for demanding operational environments. Precision machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the housing provides exceptional strength, durability, and long term reliability under hard use.
The system features intuitive rotary controls for power and the onboard IR illuminator, with a dedicated secondary dial for manual gain adjustment to fine tune image brightness as conditions change. Power is supplied by a single onboard CR123 battery, with the ability to connect an external power source via a 4-pin LEMO style connector for extended runtime.
An adjustable interpupillary distance accommodates a wide range of users, while the articulating pod design allows the device to stow flat against the helmet. This reduces neck strain, minimizes snag hazards, and helps protect both the user and the system during movement.
